But let's look at this a moment. My daughter comes to me, knows most of the details of the event, conveys direct honesty including about details she knows I wouldn't be really fond of and then respects my feedback and decisions. Repeatedly, she demonstrates to me that if I trust her but set clear expectations and rules of engagement, she respects those rules and makes strong positive decisions.<br /><br />Nicole, it is only through your efforts that I can be the parent I am.
